Teopista is the operational mind that has nurtured Suubi’s growth — from an empty field to a bustling medical campus offering life-saving services to 400,000 people. The center has a special focus on providing children and expecting mothers valuable care. Funding is needed to ensure the new antenatal clinic is staffed and able to operate.

The health center has not been able to fully open due to a need for funding. The center has the potential to serve thousands more and serve as a model for other rural communities across Uganda and through Sub-Saharan Africa at large.
